100% agree. I was a Philosophy and Spanish Lit Major in college, studied Mandarin after graduation, and taught ESL for five years. CS/IT is just a language.

In Chinese, there is a concept of 文武雙全: "Literary/Martial Good at Both." Pair this with CP Snow's concept of the Two Culture Spilt with the emergence of Third Culture people and you can see how STEM is simply not sufficient to understand the Contemporary World.
