“OK Boomer” is the perfect response to a generation that believed TV was real, White Hippies were going to solve anything, Supply Side Economics worked, The Iraq War was winnable, Climate Change isn’t real and Donald Trump is going to make America great again. If I had a friend this gullible, I’d pat him on the head and say “Ok Friend”. They’re like the Phoebe of American Demographics.

Boomers — the most Gullible Generation in American History. And where it becomes even funnier is when you add in two facts:
1. the Greatest Generation was deeply war wearied and protected their kids from the harsh realities of the world
2. The Boomers grew up in an Energy Age of Plenty. They didn’t know scarcity until they were in their 20s (for the most part).

Add all this together, and you realize why the Boomers don’t think the Iron Laws of the World apply to them — they’re gullible and grew up mollycoddled and warm. They think that’s the reality of the world.
