On Qi

I have a weird kink for infrastructure. It is almost certainly the result of growing up in a hoard and then being forced to deal with the hypocrisy of a Beatitude-driven mother dumping her mess in my lap to clean up, with nary an apology nor responsibility taking until the last week of her life — when it was all over but the shouting.

I handled dust and clutter at point blank range from 1990 until 2020. This makes me very focused on how material reality and physical environment deeply impact how we think. We are embodied animals, no matter what the NeoPlatonists say. And JR Licklieder would agree with me. So there!
