I’m serious. But we live in a state with a bunch of wrench turning roughnecks who can’t get their heads out of their tactical and don’t realize that Peak Oil is EXACTLY having to pay for the oil well infrastructure AND the water pumping infrastructure. In the classic Texas oil days, they only had to pay for the oil well infrastructure and got more barrels per play than the current arrangement of oil wells AND water. The Energy Return on Investment just ain’t there. We already live in Post-Peak Oil in Texas. The Hidrocabrones and their Texas Petrostate Triumphalism is complete and total Honky Gnostic Bullshit and they are just getting their kicks and looting before the whole shithouse burns up in flames.

Texas needs Gen IV nuclear power to provide a stable grid when the renewables go wonky on a cloudy, windless day.
