The Dilemma of Moscow Mitch
Since the 1970s, Conservatives have been preaching the Gospel of Friedrich Hayek. This got condensed into Reagan’s Anti-Government Platform of the 1980s. Republicans have been against government intervention in the US economy for 40 years. YET, in 2008 and now in 2020, they have had to use the power of the federal government’s purse to bail the US economy out of dire straights which were caused by their own dumbass Conservative Economic policies.
Now, in 2016, we watch Mitch McConnell tell US citizens that they don’t deserve $600 a week, while the millionaire/biollionaire class get on-going government subsidies. Once again, it’s socialism for the rich, brutal capitalism for the poor. Remember that when some pudgy, smarmy fat fuck Republican from Highland Park tells you that socialism doesn’t work. Pick up a big assed stick and make his fat ass run from you. He can’t. He’ll get winded a half a block down Preston Road. They are the ones grown weak and bloated from socialist policies. Mitch McConnell allowed his own wife’s family company a million dollars in COVID-19 bailout money. Ted Cruz voted for it. But they don’t seem to think you need $600 a week to keep a roof over your head and to feed your kids. You’re just a grifter. They’re job creators.
Here’s the pisser of a situation that Moscow Mitch is in — if he doesn’t allow the $600 a week, the economy comes crashing down. Because Job creators don’t actually create money. Or spend it. Job Creators hoard money. They don’t create shit. They’re hoarders. Never forget it. BUT! If Moscow Mitch allows the $600 a week, something much more devastating, but subtle will happen. 50 years of Conservative Economic policy will be proven to be the complete bullshit it is.
The Federal Government can help, has helped, does help, and will help the citizens of the United States. In 1968, The Republicans figured out they can channel racist Southern rage and Dixiecrat discontent into a form of Neo-Confederatism and sucker the Working Class White into voting against their economic best interests. Just like the Planter Aristocracy suckered the Southern Dirt Farmers into fighting for fancy mansions and an economy that didn’t benefit the cannon fodder. In The South, this shit aways works. McConnell knows this. His Dixiecrat ass also knows that if he allows the weekly benefit to continue, it shows his ideology to be complete bullshit. The man is fraud. Just like the Planter Aristocracy was. Just like his overlord, The Donald, is.
Donald Trump is a racist grifter who is only concerned with lining his family’s pockets with tax payer money. He’s the head of the Republican Party. When Trump goes, the Party isn’t going to have a come to Jesus moment and repent. Moscow Mitch isn’t going to throw up his hands and shout “I was a good man before The Donald!” because he wasn’t. None of these racist, grifter Southern con-men are good people. They’re going to keep on doing what they’ve done for 50 years, since Nixon — lie to your face while they steal your money. Donald Trump became the Republican Party because the Republican Party is The Party of Racist Grifters who praise Jesus and preach Hard Work, but only get their hands dirty when they reach into your back pocket and lift your wallet.
